Take of the Week [22:40]
I propose that Google introduces the "shrug-follow" for site owners that are unsure of which attribute to use, or if they should use one at all. 😉
E.g. Crosslink heavily to your network of 50 sites? rel="shrug-follow". pic.twitter.com/uFn0BX0pPC

1 week later on LinkedIn : we provide high DA well balanced backlinks 30% Dofollow 30% nofollow 20% ugc and 10% sponsored ?? #seolife

Summary of the new rels:
-no need (or obvious benefit) to change
-G treats nofollow as a suggestion now which means they *could* count some nofollowed links. (Most likely if they are true recommendations from authoritative sites.)
-not going to work in x-robots or robots in head pic.twitter.com/tmgdlUmRTV— Marie Haynes (@Marie_Haynes) September 11, 2019
